Tradition and flavor on your plate

Nowadays a traditional harvest method flourishes, using offcourse some better tools: the branches are "combed" to detach the fruit with greater ease and speed, while on the ground beneath the olives lays a special net of synthetic material. Ladders of wood or aluminum are used for gathering inaccessible branches. After the olives fall from the tree, farmers flick the ends of the olive branches, which will be cleaned by hand and then placed in transport containers (buckets, cans etc.) and sacks. They will then be transferred to the repository.
